Super Rift Fighter

Pilot your ship through varied side scrolling space encounters across multiple solar systems. As you progress, pick-up or trade for new weapons & ship modules to make powerful and interesting combinations.

Gameplay

• Classic 'Defender' like side scrolling shoot-em-up action
• Each run randomly generated from pool of pre-built encounters
• Choose your own route through each star system
• Upgrade your ship with new weapons and modules
• Choose which modules to fit and which to sell or discard
• Varied play styles: high fire rate, single shot damage, missiles, drones
• Many passive and active modules to choose from: cloak, EMP, blink move, explosive rounds, split shot (many more to come)
• 3 starting ships to choose from (more to come)
• Recharging shields, but limited hull hit points

Planned Updates

• 10 solar systems (increasing in difficulty)
• More starting ships to unlock: Drone commander, Trader, The Tank
• More encounters (eventually each run will not see the same encounter twice)
• More weapons and many more modules to choose from
• Different shield options with varying behaviours
• More music tracks
• 2 Player (maybe!)

• Movement: WASD or arrow keys 
• Fire Weapons: Space
• Active Modules: 1, 2, 3, 4
• Select/Action: Enter
• Auto Fire Toggle: Tab

• Movement: Dpad or Left Stick

• Active Modules: Shoulders & Triggers
• Select/Action: Y
• Auto Fire Toggle: Left Stick Down
